We work closely with our students to develop their extracurricular “hook” or edge, which presents a strong candidacy for admission. Should you be well rounded, or should you be focused? How do you present a strong story in your application that would capture the eyes of the admissions officers?
At AdmissionSight, we work closely with our students to explore different extracurricular interests so that they can develop their profile and present a strong case for admission in their applications. Many of our students have taken advantage of significant leadership opportunities in and out of high school, have become president or founder of various organizations and nonprofits, and seek to inspire others around them to share the mission they’ve become incredibly passionate about. Not only do you have to garner these leadership positions to present a strong case for admission, but students also need to showcase how the “inner thinker” in them and how they approach the world through their personal lens in the essays. The essays, or personal statements, are your opportunity to exemplify the characteristics that admissions officers want see in a potential candidate, and executing those well is a paramount part of this process.
