About us

Africa Worldwide is the creative industries arm of Mantis Group. We develop, finance and produce African film and TV content.

Our approach is built around one principle: structuring a project and supporting it all the way through to financing and audiences. We apply this approach to film and TV content production, while also developing our own productions.

We operate from two locations, Casablanca and Abidjan, gateways to North and West Africa. Our mission: expand the pipeline of investment-ready film and TV projects. Our ambition: help build a bankable and influential film and TV industry that creates sustainable jobs across Africa.

A story is meant to travel. We build strategic partnerships and facilitate distribution, festival participation and cultural diplomacy to take each project beyond its borders. Project by project, we are building an ecosystem.

A drama infused with humour, set in Côte d’Ivoire in 1984, during the Africa Cup of Nations. Directed by O. Assi, starring Ivorian music legend Meiway, Alexandra Amon and Ray Reboul.
