Greenwood Barn is a spacious, yet cosy and comfy converted barn.
This 3-bedroom character barn has lots of quirky features and reclaimed materials, such as an upright beam from a medieval barn, deep wood window sills, & floor tiles from a French brocante.
Dog friendly (4 ish)-everywhere except the human shower. Dogs have their own outdoor shower.
10-15 minutes walk to the local beach. You can sometimes hear the waves breaking on the beach from the garden, particularly at night.
Enclosed garden (lowest part of fencing is the meshed 5-bar entrance gate).
Large lawn for zoomies.
Wheelchair friendly (including a large wet room).
No steps, inside or out.
Sleeps 6 in 3 large bedrooms.
Each bedroom has an en suite (1 large wet room/1 bath with shower over/1 shower cubicle).
A doggie welcome pack of extra furniture throws, towels, bowls, spare poop bags and special treats is provided.
If you would like your dog/s to join you on the bed/s please let us know and provide your own bedding.

The solid fencing means your dog can’t see the farm animals but will hear them
5 bar gate (a shade under 4′) with chicken wire mesh
Boundary hedge on the lane side is a high hedge (over 12′) with a mix of stock fencing, or solid fencing

There are the odd pedestrian/vehicle/dog passers-by, behind the hedge & gate

The Walcott (to Happisburgh) 4.5 mile National Trail circular walk can be accessed near The Lighthouse Inn
The local beach is just 10–15 mins walk to toes on sand (also 0.75 miles / 1.25 km) via Mill Common Road, giving access to the Norfolk Coast Path
There’s a dog friendly fish and chip restaurant and a dog friendly café (with ice cream bar in summer) on the seafront, just a 1 mile walk away (1.6 km), plus one of two local shops
In the other direction (also 1 mile) a dog friendly vegan café with dogs‑allowed sofas; Café Carmel is popular with vegans and non‑vegans alike

Ridlington is approximately 5/10 minutes from the seaside villages of Happisburgh and Mundesley, and 15 minutes from historic North Walsham. Central Norwich can be reached in just under an hour by car.
The Norfolk Broads (boat/canoe/paddle board hire) are just 15 minutes away.
BeWilderwood is a 20-minute drive.

Changeover days: Friday and Monday (excluding bank holidays).
Minimum stay: 3 nights. Maximum stay: 14 nights.
Short breaks available all year round.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a £300 refundable housekeeping bond payable on booking.
cancellation policy
More than 6 weeks: 25% (deposit)
Less than 6 weeks: only refundable if the cancelled booking is replaced with another booking and for the price of the replacement booking, minus a £50 admin fee.
