Volunteer Interests

How would you like to help us?

Time commitment: (1 hour Tuesday or Thursday morning)
Format: Usually virtually on Zoom
Description: Drop in to one of our courses - we love to welcome visitors so that participants are constantly learning from people in different fields and industries. Just attend, share your story and join in the conversation. We will brief you in advance so that you won’t be faced with anything unexpected.

Time commitment: (2 x 1 hour Flexible, depending on your availability)
Format: Usually virtually on Zoom
Description: We pair you (usually virtually on Zoom) with a jobseeker seeking work broadly in your sector. You review their CV and give them constructive and encouraging feedback.

Time commitment: (1 hour Flexible, depending on your availability)
Format: Usually virtually on Zoom
Description: We pair you with a jobseeker. We send you their CV and a job spec. You interview them virtually for 30-40 mins as if they’re applying for that job spec. You then provide 20 mins constructive and encouraging feedback on-the-spot.

Time commitment: (1 hour Flexible, depending on your availability)
Format: Usually virtually on Zoom
Description: We pair you with a jobseeker for a one-to-one coaching session. You help them explore career options, identify their strengths, set realistic goals, and develop an action plan for their job search. Your role is to provide encouragement, guidance, and insights based on your own professional experience. We will brief you in advance so that you feel confident and prepared for the session.

Time commitment: (3-7 hours per week for a 7-week cycle)
Format: Virtually on Zoom or In-person
Description: Join with an experienced co-facilitator to host a small group of 6-8 jobseeking professionals as they participate in the programme. Your role is to encourage and energise the members of the small group, helping them to rebuild their career, rebrand and market themselves, network and apply for jobs.
