Your firm runs on technology.
It should never run you.

You didn’t get into law to manage software updates, chase down a downed server before a filing deadline, or figure out why someone’s workstation stopped talking to the network. That’s our job.

Xentric specializes in managed IT services for Los Angeles law firms. We help keep your systems available, your client data protected, and your attorneys and staff supported  so technology does not become one more thing the firm has to manage.

Managed IT is not the same thing as having someone to call when something breaks.

A lot of firms have a contact they reach out to when something goes wrong. That’s reactive support. It means the problem already exists before anyone gets involved, and your firm is already paying for it in downtime, interruptions, and staff frustration.

Managed IT means your infrastructure is monitored, maintained, and patched continuously. It means support is built into the arrangement, not treated like an hourly bill your team hesitates to trigger. It means we already know your environment when you call, because we’ve been managing it all along.

For a law firm, that distinction matters. You’re handling confidential client data, working against court deadlines, and operating under professional responsibilities that do not pause because a server crashed.

We support Los Angeles law firms across their full technology environment: workstations, servers, Microsoft 365, case management access, phones, backups, cybersecurity, vendors, and the day-to-day issues that slow the firm down. Here’s what each piece covers and why it matters for your practice.

Some of the ways we support law firms

Your firm does not need a pile of disconnected tools.

It needs a managed technology environment where support, security, backup, access, communication, and planning work together.

Managed support and maintenance

Most law firms already have someone they call when something breaks. The problem is that waiting for something to break is what creates the interruption in the first place.

A slow workstation drags through a deposition prep. A misconfigured server makes remote access unreliable the night before a hearing. A failed update takes down a software dependency nobody knew was connected. These aren’t catastrophes, they’re the ordinary friction of unmanaged infrastructure, and they compound over time.

XenManage is how we eliminate that pattern. Your workstations, servers, and network are monitored around the clock, patched on schedule, and maintained proactively. When something needs attention, we address it before it becomes a problem for your team. When your staff needs help, they reach us directly – not a ticketing queue routed to an offshore desk.
What this means for your firm:

• Attorneys and staff get help fast, from a local team that already knows your setup
• Recurring issues get resolved at the root, not patched over repeatedly
• Onboarding a new associate or offboarding a departing one is handled cleanly
• Software, internet, copier, phone, and cloud vendors are coordinated on your behalf (and your office manager doesn’t have to translate the problem to five different support lines)
• Microsoft 365, email, file access, permissions, and account management are handled as part of the broader environment
Arthur and the team respond quickly when an IT concern arises and get it resolved without causing our services to be down. All my staff adore him for being there for us when we need tech help.

Security and threat response

You probably have antivirus. That’s not the same thing as security.

Traditional antivirus is built to recognize threats it has already seen. Modern attacks are designed to look like normal activity until it’s too late. Ransomware, credential theft, and business email compromise don’t announce themselves.

Law firms are a specific target. You hold confidential client information, financial data, and privileged communications. A breach doesn’t just cost you recovery time — it can create client communication problems, professional responsibility concerns, and reputational damage that is difficult to repair.

XenSecure replaces the antivirus model with continuous detection and response. Every endpoint in your firm is monitored for behavior, not just known threat signatures. When something looks wrong, the system responds immediately and our team is alerted. We investigate and contain the threat before it spreads, around the clock.
What this means for your firm:

• Protection against the attacks antivirus won’t catch: ransomware, unknown malware, and compromised credentials
• 24/7 automated threat response so containment doesn’t wait for business hours
• Proactive threat hunting by our security team, not just reactive alerts
• Security reporting that helps document the protections your firm has in place
• Stronger endpoint protection can also support cyber•insurance requirements, depending on your carrier and policy
Extremely knowledgeable in the field of cybersecurity for small businesses. They provide outstanding information and services at very reasonable rates. Very trustworthy. I was left with confidence that I am in good hands with Xentric Solutions.

Backup and disaster recovery

Most firms think they’re backed up until they need to restore something.

A backup that hasn’t been tested isn’t a backup — it’s a guess. File sync tools like OneDrive or SharePoint replicate deletions and ransomware encryption right along with everything else. If your firm’s continuity plan is “we have it backed up somewhere,” that’s worth revisiting before you find out what it actually means under pressure.
The question isn’t whether you have backups. It’s whether you can actually recover, how long it takes, and what your firm looks like in the hours before it’s back online.
XenProtect is built around that question. Backups are image-based, capturing not just your files but your configurations, applications, and full system state. In many situations, recovery can be measured in minutes instead of days. Backup images are archived separately from your live environment, helping keep recovery points isolated from an active ransomware event. If ransomware hits, the goal is to restore from a clean image instead of being forced into a ransom decision.
What this means for your firm:

• Full image-based backups of servers and workstations; not just files
• Offsite cloud replication to eliminate physical risk from fire, theft, or equipment failure
• Fast recovery from common failure scenarios, including hardware failure, ransomware, accidental deletion, or physical office damage
• Backup storage through secure, professionally managed data centers
• Workstation-level backup available alongside server-level backup, so nothing important lives only on a local machine
Xentric Solutions has been handling our IT needs for years. They are extremely helpful, responsive, professional, and always looking out for our best interests. We don't know where we would be without their assistance and support.

Cloud and infrastructure

“The cloud” is not a solution in itself. It’s a location.

Your firm’s servers and data can live on hardware in your office, in a managed data center offsite, or some combination of both. Cloud is not automatically the right answer, and onsite infrastructure is not automatically outdated.

For some firms, cloud infrastructure makes remote access, scaling, and vendor management easier. For others, onsite or hybrid infrastructure still makes more sense because of application performance, long-term cost, or workflow requirements. The right balance can also shift as the firm grows.

We assess your current setup, understand where you’re headed, and recommend an approach that fits your practice today without boxing you in. We’ll tell you if onsite makes more sense for your situation — there’s no advantage to us in pushing you somewhere that creates problems later.
What this means for your firm:

• An honest assessment of whether cloud, onsite, or hybrid fits your practice
• Infrastructure design and migration handled end-to-end
• Ongoing management of whatever environment you’re in
• Planning that accounts for remote work, multiple locations, and firm growth
Xentric helped get my firms data to the cloud for secure access. They advised on what my options were and recommended where I should and shouldn't focus for my workflow.

Business phone / VoIP

Phone systems are easy to ignore until calls get missed, routing breaks, or attorneys start using personal cell numbers because the business system is too limited.

A conventional office phone system is tied to a physical location. It doesn’t follow your attorneys when they leave the office and doesn’t give you visibility into call activity. A VoIP system routes calls over the internet, so your attorneys can take calls on a desk phone, a desktop app, or a mobile phone — all from the same business number. Personal cell numbers stay personal.

In many of the phone migrations we handle, firms reduce their monthly phone costs by 30 to 50 percent compared with their prior service. If you’re already on another VoIP provider, we can often identify savings or service gaps worth reviewing.
What this means for your firm:

• Attorneys take calls from anywhere without giving out personal cell numbers
• Business texting, voicemail transcription to email, call recording, and call routing included
• Auto-attendant and call queue configuration for how your firm actually handles inbound calls
• Digital fax options, no dedicated fax line required
• Microsoft Teams integration if your firm uses it
• We handle setup, number porting, and ongoing support
Having Xentric Solutions as part of our team has been nothing but an incredible experience. They've taken care of all our IT needs for years, including our phone systems. We have so much peace of mind knowing we can reach out whenever we have a hiccup and they'll take care of everything.

Clearer decisions. Fewer vendor runarounds.

Law firms often get stuck between software vendors, internet providers, copier companies, phone providers, cloud platforms, and internal staff trying to figure out who owns the problem.

We help coordinate the moving parts, review technology decisions before they become urgent, and give your firm a clearer plan for what should be improved, replaced, secured, or left alone.

What this means for your firm:
• Practical guidance on what to improve, replace, secure, or leave alone
• Vendor coordination across software, internet, phone, copier, cloud, and case management providers
• Hardware, licensing, security, backup, and cloud decisions are evaluated as part of one connected environment
• Clear recommendations without making your firm translate the technical details
• Growth, staffing changes, new locations, and major technology projects are planned instead of improvised

You built your practice around your expertise in the law.
Your IT should work the same way.

The firms we work with aren’t looking for a vendor. They’re looking for a partner who already understands their environment and doesn’t need everything explained from scratch every time something comes up. That’s what specializing in law firms makes possible.

We know the software law firms commonly rely on, the confidentiality concerns they operate with, and the kind of support that helps when something goes wrong at the wrong time. We’ve been doing this in Los Angeles since 2014.

If your current IT arrangement leaves something to be desired – or you’re not sure whether it does – a 15-minute conversation is enough to find out.
