In 2022 and 2023, Long Covid Families brought together leading voices in education, healthcare, and family advocacy for our annual Back to School Conferences. These gatherings focused on one urgent goal: ensuring children with pediatric Long COVID can return to learning without sacrificing their health.
Experts shared strategies for classroom accommodations, healthcare coordination, and emotional support. Families shared what is working and what still needs to change. Each conference built a stronger network of parents, educators, and clinicians committed to protecting every child’s right to learn and thrive.

Long Covid Families ensures children with pediatric Long COVID are part of the global conversation. We have brought their voices to the World Health Organization in 2022, the Global Interdependence Center in 2022, the Woodcock Institute in 2023, and the Demystifying Long COVID Conference in Boston in 2024. In 2025, we participated as a panelist at the NIH Treating Long COVID Workshop.
