As a Kent wedding videographer, there’s a certain magic to The Dreys in Kent—a secluded woodland retreat that feels untouched by time, a hidden world where weddings unfold with an effortless, organic beauty. Nestled in the heart of the Kent countryside, The Dreys isn’t just a venue; it’s an experience, a setting that invites couples to create something personal, something uniquely theirs.

The Dreys Wedding Videographer
What can say about the amazing ‘Benemily’ woodland wedding? A Kent woodland setting with vegan food, an acrobat serving champagne, karaoke in the wedding ceremony, and did I mention the fabulous vegan food? It’s not very often you get to shoot wedding videography in such a secluded and idyllic woodland wedding venue. The Dreys was unlike any wedding venue I had shot at before. Set within 80 acres of privately owned land within the Kent Downs, Squirrel Wood is a stunning ancient woodland, with provision for functions, and events.
Wedding Videography Feature Film at The Dreys
As a wedding filmmaker, this is where I thrive. My approach is all about storytelling—capturing moments as they unfold, without interference, without staged direction. It’s about the stolen glances, the laughter around the firepit, the way guests let their guard down in a place that feels like home. The Dreys encourages this kind of honest filmmaking—there’s nothing forced here, just pure, unfiltered emotion.
I was pretty excited to shoot this wedding. The Dreys Wedding venue had been on my hit list to shoot a wedding at for some time and was stoked when Ben & Emily asked me to be their Wedding Videographer. I found the venue enchanting with its rustic charm and down-to-earth vibe just what was needed. Humanists ceremonies are becoming more popular with our ever more secular society. These ceremonies are a joy to film and often leave no dry eye in the audience.
Wedding Videographer covering The Dreys
If you’re planning a wedding at The Dreys and want a film that reflects the warmth, the connection, and the raw beauty of your day, let’s talk. This isn’t just about making a wedding video; it’s about crafting a story that will transport you back to the feeling of that place, that moment, every time you press play.
I got the opportunity to shoot alongside with award winning wedding photographer Lindsay Godard and her equally amazing photographer husband Steve Bunn, and they where an absolute pleasure to work alongside with. The day ran super smooth from the morning bridal preps till late in the evening when the party went bonkers! This story is documented over on the Love My Dress Blog.
What a fantastic wedding day!
