What is the MECC Certificate of Completion?

It’s an online certificate to verify your Excel skills and hands-on expertise through practical challenges, that you can share on your social media and add to your LinkedIn resume.

How Can I Get It?

This season we will have a range of certificates to be earned:

Badge	Availability	Requirements	Additional info
Case Explorer Badge	Season 2025	Complete six out of eleven cases, achieving at least 50% accuracy. Earning this badge will introduce you to a different type of Excel Battle Cases – Visual, Data/Logical and Speed Cases).	Earns an invitation to the “Battle for Semi-Finals and Scholarships” on September 27.
Personal Finance Badge	Season 2025	Complete all six Personal Finance Challenges with at least 50% accuracy.
Excel Athlete Badge	January – September 2025	Participate in at least five Excel Weekend Battles. Completing a post-competition version of the battle does not count towards this badge.	Earns an invitation to the “Battle for Semi-Finals and Scholarships” on September 27.

When and How I Will Receive It?

Certificates will be emailed to Participants using their registered email addresses regularly, ideally weekly, but no less than monthly.
