Why Support and How to Get Involved?

Although MECC offers free learning opportunities for students throughout the year via an online platform, there are costs associated with traveling to and attending the in-person finals in Las Vegas (December 2-4, 2024). We provide students with the chance to compete for 10 scholarships, which cover all expenses for the top students. Additionally, we cover the training camp and hotel costs for all 25 pre-qualified students who earned their spots by showcasing top results during the online competitions throughout the season.

We strive to secure more funding for additional scholarships to enable a larger audience to attend the Microsoft Excel Collegiate Challenge finals, which are part of the Excel and Financial Modeling Training Camp – The Active Cell. $1,500 covers the costs for a North American student, and $2,500 covers the costs for an international student. The funds raised via this GoFundMe campaign will be allocated to top female participants, top participants from developing countries, and overall top performers (approximately one-third to each group).

THE ACTIVE CELL TRAINING CAMP

Students will have an opportunity to engage in a 3-day educational event focused on Excel and financial modeling, led by industry experts and Excel professionals. They can explore advanced techniques and practical applications during the sessions.

COMPETING IN THE LAST CHANCE QUALIFICATION ROUND

Students can join the Excel esports competition to showcase their skills and strategic prowess. They'll compete for a spot in the MECC Semi-Finals and Finals, facing peers worldwide. This experience boosts their competitive spirit and Excel proficiency, preparing them for future academic and professional endeavors.

NETWORKING WITH INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS AND PEERS
