FAQs
Policies, appointments, and other important info
You shouldn’t have to guess when it comes to the details. Here are answers to the most common questions about how things work.
If your deductible hasn’t been met, your out-of-pocket portion will be charged one business day before your appointment. We’ll only charge what your insurance plan says you owe.
Yes — you can make changes to your billing information anytime by logging in to the patient portal. Updating your insurance information is a quick process, too — all it requires is filling out our Insurance Update form.
Pressed for time? You can text a picture of the front and back of your new insurance card to (623) 233-0914 if that’s easier for you.
Have questions? Text us, and we’ll walk you through it.
We make it a priority to respond to texts and emails within one business day.
It’s a good idea to check with your pharmacy to see if you have any refills available. It’s easy to lose track, and a quick check can help you avoid any delays in your treatment.
When you need a refill, you can schedule a follow-up appointment with your provider in the patient portal to have that fulfilled. Most of our psychiatric nurse practitioners have same- or next-day appointments available.
If your pharmacy didn’t receive your prescription after your appointment, please text our support team at (623) 233-0914 for help. We use a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform to protect your privacy.
Please schedule a follow-up to talk with your provider as soon as possible. We’ll work with you to make adjustments.
You can also send a text ahead of time to let your provider know what you’re experiencing. Anything you share via text is protected through secure, HIPAA-compliant technology.
Email or text us with details. Depending on the request, your provider may need up to 5 business days to complete it.
We take your confidentiality seriously and use trusted, secure systems to keep your information safe.
You can log in to the portal anytime to reschedule, or text our team if you're running into issues.
You must be physically located in your state of residence for your appointment, so the good news is that in-state trips are nothing to worry about.
But, if you’re traveling outside of your state of residence, you’ll need to reschedule. You can easily change your appointment or text us to see what options are available.
We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel, please do so at least one business day in advance to avoid a $45 late cancellation fee. If something urgent comes up, just let us know as soon as you can — we’re here to help.
If you miss an appointment or arrive more than 10 minutes late without notice, a $95 no-show fee will apply.
We recommend canceling or rescheduling at least one business day ahead of time to avoid any fees and to help us offer that time to another person who needs to be seen.
If you run into a problem during your virtual appointment, please reach out right away. We’ll do our best to troubleshoot with you or reschedule your appointment if needed.
Yes, we want you to feel comfortable and supported in your care — and that includes finding the provider who’s the right fit for you.
If you’re considering switching, just text our support team at (623) 233-0914 and let them know.
While we’re happy to make a change without any questions asked, if you feel comfortable with it, sharing a little about why can help us match you with someone who’ll align with your preferences and needs.
We’ll then schedule a 40-minute transfer appointment with your new provider. This will give them time to review your chart and get to know you without rushing. If using insurance, this appointment is billed as an initial psychiatric evaluation, so the cost may vary depending on your plan and whether you’ve met your deductible. If you’re self-pay, we’ll only charge our regular follow-up rate of $150.
At the end of the day, our goal is always to make sure your care feels personal, thoughtful, and right for you.
