Outside of the office
When not providing psychiatric care to Arizona patients
Outside of work, Brenda enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, being silly with her grandchildren, and cuddling her two dogs, who are both the size of small humans.
As a mom to two sons and grandmother to two young boys, she deeply cares about fighting the mental health stigma men can feel they face by encouraging them to take care of their mental well-being.
She believes that just like learning to cook (which she’s enjoying, but still working on mastering), mental health is something we can all strengthen over time — with patience, practice, and the right guidance.
She’s also an enthusiastic car-concert performer — because nothing beats belting out your favorite songs with the windows down!
