More about your mental health professional

Professional background
Before becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner in Denver, Yvette served as an active-duty military nurse and worked with veterans at the VA. With experience in assessing, diagnosing, and prescribing medication to patients with complex mental health conditions, she combines clinical insight with a warm, focused presence.
Educational background
Licensed to practice in Colorado, Yvette has a Master of Science in Nursing from Regis College. Her advanced training allows her to diagnose mental health conditions, prescribe medication, and create tailored treatment plans for a range of conditions.
Outside of the office
When not delivering psychiatric care to patients
For Yvette, caring for others starts with staying grounded herself. She recharges by hiking Colorado trails, going for runs, getting lost in a good book, or piquing her curiosity with true crime shows.
At home, she shares life with her husband, two kids — a teenager and an infant — and their two dogs. Together, they love taking long walks and family road trips that help them reconnect and reset.
This Colorado-licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner has a bucket-list dream to go skydiving, a nod to her bold spirit and steady courage. It’s the same strength that drives her ongoing commitment as an active member of the Army Reserve.
She approaches life with equal parts curiosity and care — whether she’s exploring new places with her family or deeply listening to a patient’s story. That relaxed, open-minded energy is at the heart of the support she provides.
