The Philosophy
Harvard Institute of Health Sciences (HIHS) exists for the purpose of helping those who want to help themselves, and we believe in the dignity of each individual who has the right to a job that will pay enough to fulfill basic human needs. At HIHS, each individual is treated as an individual with unique aspirations, needs and abilities. All of the Harvard Institute of Health Sciences training is to the point, short term and intensive. Most adults cannot afford to spend several years gaining job skills, and at HIHS they do not have to.

The Harvard Institute of Health Sciences Mission is based on philosophy of self-determination. HIHS is dedicated to providing quality educational and training opportunities to those individuals seeking the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain entry-level employment in allied health or related professions, to become further credentialed to advance their career, and/or to equip graduates with skill-specific expertise to gain a competitive edge in the workforce.
