A Tradition of Trust
Romano Law Group is a personal injury and accident law firm located in West Palm Beach that provides expert legal representation on a local and national level. With a proud and storied history in the South Florida community going back nearly 70 years, here’s a glimpse into where we’ve come from and where we’re heading in the future.


Doctor Randolph Romano began practicing medicine in Lake Worth. In his first week of practice, Dr. Romano received a call from a man in need of medical attention who was denied care at the only area hospital because he was African American. Dr. Romano pledges to build a medical facility to serve all residents, ultimately passing this spirit of community service on to his children.

John Romano graduates from FSU and joins the Marine Corps as Judge Advocate General officer.

After serving as an attorney in the office of the Judge Advocate General (JAG) in the U.S. Marine Corp., John Romano embarked on a career in private practice with Cone, Wagner and Nugent, one of Palm Beach County’s first and most respected personal injury law firms.

John and Rodney Romano, along with partners Mike Eriksen and Joel Cronin, M.D., leave the Cone, Wagner and Nugent firm to establish Romano, Eriksen and Cronin. Stanley Preiser, considered one of the greatest courtroom lawyers of the 20th century, begins serving as counsel to Romano Law Group, joining such legal legends as Clarence Darrow, Thurgood Marshall and Johnny Cochran. Stanley was inducted into the American Trial Lawyers Hall of Fame months before his death in 2009.

John's brother, Rodney, and firm partner began serving the local community in the first of his three terms as mayor of Lake Worth.

After a more than 20 year legal battle, John Romano wins on behalf of a veteran that was unknowingly given LSD by the government as part of a top secret CIA program.

Eric Romano joins the firm after serving three years as a prosecutor with the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office.

Todd Romano is honorably discharged as a Captain and joins the firm after serving four years as a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps.

Attorney John Romano reorganizes Romano, Eriksen and Cronin as Romano Law Group, which serves victims suffering from auto accidents, catastrophic injury, wrongful death or other personal injury claims.

The Jon E. Krupnick Award is awarded for efforts on behalf of a particular client reflecting relentless commitment, perseverance and fortitude to seek justice and achieve success through all obstacles and legal roadblocks encountered.

John has successfully tried to verdict over 200 cases in nearly every type of civil and criminal case. John has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts, including a $45 million verdict for a paralyzed motorcyclist when the jury needed to understand the visceral components of the plaintiff’s damages. In 2013, he obtained a $53 million verdict for his client against Ford Motor Company in a seat back defect case.
