Your headshot speaks before you do.

Professional portraits make people stop, look, and remember who you are.

Here’s what I’ve learned after years of doing this.

Most people don’t have a bad photo because they’re unphotogenic.
They have a bad photo because nobody took the time to actually see them first.

I work with professionals, business owners, attorneys, consultants, coaches, and executives. Some drive three or four hours to get here. Some ask me to come to them. What they all have in common is they’re done with photos that feel like a form they had to fill out.

If you need one great headshot or a full library of personal branding images, the process is the same: we talk first, I listen, and then we make something that actually looks like you.
The 3-Step Process

What to Expect From Start to Finish

1

We Talk First

Before we shoot anything, we talk. What you need the images for, what you've hated about photos in the past, what you want people to feel when they see you. No question is off limits. This conversation is where the real work starts.

2

You Show Up

I handle the directing. You don't need to know how to pose. That's my job. I'll tell you exactly what I'm doing and why. Most people tell me afterward it felt nothing like they expected. That's the idea.

3

Choose What You Love

At the reveal, you see everything we made together. We go through it, you pick what works, and we figure out what makes sense for your needs and your budget. You only take home what you're genuinely proud of.

Two Ways to Show Up Professionally

Most professionals in Maine are using a photo that’s three years old, shot in a lobby with someone’s phone. They know it’s not working. They just haven’t found the right person to fix it. That’s what this page is for.

Whether you need a single, clean headshot or a full library of personal branding images, the goal is the same: people should see exactly who you are before they ever meet you.

I work with professionals, business owners, attorneys, consultants, coaches, and executives across Maine — from Portland to the Western Mountains. Sessions happen in my Bethel studio or on location, wherever your brand lives.

Professional Headshots

One session. Three images that open doors.

Who This Is For:
Professionals updating their LinkedIn, authors, consultants, attorneys, real estate agents. Basically anyone who needs a go-to image that opens doors.

$900+tax

This is for your LinkedIn profile, your website bio, a speaking engagement, a book jacket, a board presentation. Anywhere someone looks at your photo and forms an opinion before you’ve said a word.

We spend 30 to 45 minutes in the studio. I walk you through every setup. You leave with three final retouched images in color and black and white, sized for web and print, with multiple crop sizes so you’re covered no matter where they’re going.

What's Included

Personal Branding

More. A full visual library of who you are and what you do.

Who This Is For:
Business owners, personal brands, speakers, authors, coaches, consultants who need a complete visual identity. This is a strategic advantage for your business.

Starts at $1800+tax

A headshot tells people what you look like. Personal branding photography tells them what it’s like to work with you. Those are different things, and they need different sessions.

This is for business owners, speakers, authors, coaches, and creatives who need more than one photo. People whose image is part of how they do business, whether they think about it that way or not.

We spend 90 minutes or more together. Multiple looks, multiple setups, and depending on your brand, we may work outside the studio as well. You walk away with a minimum of 10 final retouched images ready for your website, your social media, and anywhere else your audience finds you.

What's Included

Need something more personal than a headshot? The Signature Portrait session goes deeper. If you’re a business that needs product or brand imagery alongside your headshots, commercial photography covers that ground.

Corporate and Team Headshots

When a law firm, a real estate agency, or a healthcare practice has headshots that don’t match  with different backgrounds, different lighting, and one person’s photo from 2019 … it tells a story. Usually not the one you’d choose.

I work with organizations across Maine to fix that. We can do it in my studio in Bethel, or I can come to your office. Either way, every person gets guided through the session individually. Nobody stands in front of a wall looking like they’re waiting for a bus.

The result is a set of headshots your team will actually want to use. Cohesive, professional, and (this matters more than people expect) images where people genuinely like how they look.

Every group situation is different, so I put together custom quotes based on how many people, how much time, and whether we’re in the studio or on location. Send me a message and we’ll work it out.

A Few Questions I Get A Lot

How much do professional headshots cost in Maine?

Headshot sessions start at $900 plus tax. That covers a 30–45 minute session, up to three outfit changes, same-day reveal, and three final retouched images in color and black and white. Personal branding sessions start at $1,800.

Do I need to know how to pose?

No. Posing is my department. I direct every shot and tell you exactly what I’m looking for. Most people are surprised at how natural the whole thing feels once we get going.

How long does a session take?

Headshot sessions run 30 to 45 minutes. Personal branding sessions run 90 minutes or more. We’re not rushing because we’re building something.

Can you come to our location for corporate headshots?

Yes. I’ve worked on location with teams across Maine. Portland, Augusta, Bangor, the coast, the mountains. Reach out and we’ll figure out the logistics together.

Where is the studio?

2 Mechanic Street, Bethel, Maine. About 90 minutes from Portland. Easy to find, easy to park. If you’d rather I come to you, that’s a real option.

What’s the difference between a headshot and personal branding photography?

A headshot is one strong image. Personal branding photography is a full visual library — different setups, lighting, and contexts that give you content across every platform where people find you. If you need more than one image, the branding conversation is worth having.
