About This Course

This training course covers the various aspects associated with the OSID Beam.

Purpose of this Training Course

The training course is developed to provide you with the necessary skills to conduct a successful installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of the units.

Learning Assuming to be in Place

Program entry requires:

• Learners should have basic computer skills
• Understanding of Fire Detection Principals would be beneficial

2. Installation
3. Commissioning
4. Service and Maintenance

Course Information

Please read the following information carefully

1. You may conduct the Online Theory in your own time. However, your place within the course will not be saved once you exit unless you have taken a Formative Assessment. Please use your downloaded manual to mark your position within the course.
2. Each Formative Assessment can be taken a MAXIMUM of 3 times (3 Attempts)
3.  You need to successfully complete each formative assessment before moving to the next Module or Lesson
4. An 80% pass rate is required in order to progress
5. Should you fail to achieve the required 80% pass rate after 3 attempts, you will be deemed as not competent to continue and shall have to pay again for the Theory portion of the course.
6. Upon successful completion of the Online Theory, a certificate of completion will be issued. The Certificate will need to be submitted when booking your Practical session
