Before You Book

BL trips include everything in-destination with a local guide. BL+ trips are fully hosted with a UK guide and optional group flights.

Yes for BL trips. For BL+ trips, you can choose to book UK group flights and transfers through us.

It depends on the challenge rating — each trip is clearly graded so you can choose what suits your fitness level.

Yes — around 78% of our travellers join solo. You’ll be paired with a same-sex roommate (no single supplement), and with small groups and guides throughout, it’s easy to meet like-minded people and make friends for life. 

We run small group trips, typically between 4-16 people, depending on the destination.

Yes, rooms are usually twin-share. Private room options may be available on some trips.

Yes — you can secure your place with a deposit and spread the remaining balance.

After You’ve Booked

We’ll send recommended flight times after booking to ensure you arrive and depart at the right time.

Your kit list and all trip information will be available on Vamoos — you’ll receive a login code after booking, giving you access to all your relevant trip documentation.

All key information will be available on Vamoos, including your itinerary, kit list, and trip details. We also run training weekends throughout the year, offer altitude sessions with the Altitude Centre for high-altitude trips, and host monthly Facebook Lives where you can ask questions directly to Keith and our guides.

We set up a WhatsApp group around a week before departure, where you can message throughout the trip if you need anything. You’ll also have our direct contact details — and we always recommend raising any issues while you’re away so we can help resolve them straight away.

Tipping is optional but expected in many destinations. We provide clear guidance before your trip.

Payments, Policies & Terms

If you need to cancel, you must do so in writing. Cancellation charges depend on how close to departure you cancel:

  • 181+ days: 10% of total trip cost (plus any non-refundable costs)

  • 91–180 days: 50% of total trip cost

  • 90 days or less: 100% of total trip cost

Some trips include non-refundable costs (e.g. permits or internal flights) which may apply regardless of timing. Refunds are processed at the end of the following month. For more details, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.

Yes — changes can be made up to 16 weeks before departure for a £50 admin fee per person/per change, plus any non-refundable costs (e.g. permits). Changes within 16 weeks are only possible with our agreement and may incur additional costs. If you cancel after making changes, the higher of the original or amended cancellation fee will apply. For more details, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.

Your remaining balance is typically due 8–12 weeks before departure.

Yes — comprehensive travel insurance is required for all trips.
