Daily Itinerary – Khai Island Tour
A typical day on the Khai Islands looks like this. Times may vary slightly depending on weather and tides.
- 07:30 – 08:15 – Hotel transfer to Chalong PierAir-conditioned minibus picks you up from the hotel (07:30-08:15 depending on zone). At the pier: check-in, safety briefing, snorkeling gear distribution.
- 09:00 – Departure by speedboat from Chalong PierBoard the speedboat and depart towards Khai Nai. Coffee, tea and small snacks served on board.
- 09:20 – Arrival Khai Nai (Cat Island)First stop. Snorkeling in shallow, clear water. Meet the famous island cats. About 45-60 minutes on the island.
- 11:00 – Lunch at beach restaurantThai lunch (Pad Thai, curry, grilled fish or chicken, rice, salad, fruit) at beach restaurant on Khai Nok.
- 12:00 – Khai Nui: Relaxation on white sand beachShort boat ride (5 min.) to the smallest island. Time to swim, sunbathe, photograph. Optional: kayak or SUP (extra charge).
- 14:00 – Khai Nok: best snorkeling on coral reefMain attraction. Snorkel guide shows the best spots. Coral reefs, colorful fish, turtle sightings possible. About 60-75 minutes.
- 16:00 – Return to Chalong Pier, hotel transferSpeedboat return (15-20 min.) to pier. Minibus takes you back to the hotel. Arrival Patong/Kata ~16:30, Phuket Town ~17:30.
