Vipa Designs are casters, manufacturers and designers of high quality gold, silver, platinum and palladium jewellery, offering our services both to private clients and to the trade. Our friendly, knowledgeable and creative team are here to support you throughout the jewellery production process, from expert design through to in-house manufacturing with exceptional attention-to-detail.

Founded in 1979 by managing director Peter Crump, Vipa soon established an enviable reputation for innovative design and the high quality manufacturing of jewellery. With a client base of private individuals, designers, makers and retailers through to manufacturers and multi-national companies, the same levels of confidentiality and attention to detail is offered to all.

Drawn from a variety of skills and backgrounds, and constantly progressing those skills through modern technology, the team at Vipa prides itself on the challenge of making exactly what our clients require. Whether it is a private commission, designs for a large collection of jewellery, or just a few castings, we take the same care to ensure that everything is supplied to the same high standard.

  • We are licensed to import, trade, manufacture and design jewellery by both Fairtrade International (Fairtrade), the Alliance for Responsible Mining (Fairmined), & Single Mine Origin

Our services

Design

Working closely to your brief we can produce exclusive original jewellery designs. These can be one-off designs, individual pieces, commissions, larger suites & collections, or full ranges.

Model Making

We provide a full jewellery and silverware model & pattern making service, producing masters in wax, resin, metal or natural objects, using traditional hand skills or state-of-the-art CAD/CAM and rapid prototyping.

Casting

We offer a variety of approaches to the lost wax jewellery casting process. From patterns in wax, resin, metal or natural objects, we can cast in brass, bronze, silver, gold or platinum, with metal provided by us or by yourselves.

We offer a variety of jewellery finishing services to suit your needs, including hand polishing or machine polishing, stone setting and final Quality Control & Inspection.
