TEaching Online
Extension Course (via MS Teams)
The Teaching Online extension course expands on knowledge and skills acquired in the TEFL course. Teaching methodology is the same whether teaching online or in-person, but the tools and logistics are a little different. This course will give you the tools and confidence to teach online (and love doing it!).
Who is this course for?
The course is designed for teachers who already have a TEFL certificate (or equivalent qualification) and have some teaching experience.
This course will give you everything you need to know about teaching online, so you will be fully equipped for your first online lesson. If you already have some experience teaching online, this course will be filled with additional ideas and activities to enrich your online lessons.
What does the course involve?
The 2-hour course focus on how to adapt productive and receptive skills based lessons from a F2F format to an online format with the use of effective online teaching aids.
Basic knowledge of MS Teams and a strong internet connection is required.
A certificate will be awarded at the end of the course.

The 2 hour course will be divided into 3 parts:
– Receptive Skills: Reading / Listening
– Productive Skills: Speaking / Writing
– Teaching Online Tips and Tricks
During the course, the 3 parts will include the following:

Teaching Skills Online
- Skills: Reading, Writing, Speaking, Vocabulary
