Andrew Wojda, MA, LCSW, CADC
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor (CADC). My experience is in addiction recovery treatment. Day-to-day I work with folks through depression, anxiety, major life changes, bereavement, and many other concerns that may bring a person to therapy. My clinical background primarily focuses on working with individuals through substance use, as well as, families who have a loved one struggling with addiction.
Â
In my approach to therapy, I intend to always lead with respect and curiosity. When working on some of the most vulnerable and emotional aspects of life, I believe it can be very difficult to learn to trust and seek support, even with professionals. It is my hope that we can do our work together with safe, clear, intentional boundaries. Using a person centered style of psychology, including aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), the client and I will develop an individualized strategy based on their needs so as to facilitate a comfortable therapeutic relationship, one in which we can produce measurable results.
Â
I look forward to working with you on this journey together.
Andrew is a staff therapist at Bergen Counseling Collective and he is currently accepting new telehealth clients, and in-person clients at our Ravenswood office location
