Managed IT Services

Reliable IT support that keeps your team focused and your business moving.

More productive days, fewer interruptions

Stronger protection against ransomware and outages

A predictable IT budget you can plan around

Is Your Technology Holding Your Business Back?

If technology has become a source of frustration instead of a tool that helps you get work done, it’s time for a different kind of IT partner.

IT Support Built on Trust, Not Just Tickets

Running a business is enough without having to be your own IT department on the side. You shouldn’t have to know what a switch port is to send an email or pull up a customer file.

Our team works as your in-house tech department, handling the day-to-day issues, the long-term planning, and everything in between. The result is a workplace where the technology actually does what you bought it to do.

How Our Managed IT Helps You Get More Done

Full-Spectrum Managed IT

We take ownership of your full technology environment, from workstations to servers to cloud accounts, so you have one team to call instead of half a dozen vendors.

Help Desk

Reach friendly local technicians who explain things in plain English and get the issue resolved without making you feel rushed.

24/7 Threat Detection

Our security team watches your network around the clock for ransomware, suspicious logins, and the kinds of intrusions that happen at 2 a.m. instead of during business hours.

Virtual CIO (vCIO) Services

Strategic planning sessions to align your technology decisions with where your business is actually headed, not where it was three years ago.

Multi-Layered Cybersecurity

Firewalls, endpoint protection, email filtering, and ongoing staff training all working together to protect your data and your people.

Cloud Optimization

Secure, well-tuned cloud setups that make remote work, file sharing, and collaboration straightforward instead of clunky.

Business Continuity and Backup

Tested backups and recovery plans that get your team working again in hours rather than days when something goes wrong.

Outdated IT Is Costing You More Than You Think

“Good enough” IT usually isn’t. Without a proactive partner, you’re sitting on the kind of risks that get expensive fast: ransomware, prolonged outages, frustrated employees, and missed opportunities. The cost of a real security incident or a multi-day outage almost always outweighs what you’d have spent on professional IT support in the first place.

Protect what you’ve built and give your team the support they actually need.

FAQs

Managed IT services are a proactive approach to technology where a business hands off its day-to-day IT operations to an outside provider, known as a managed service provider (MSP). Unlike the older "break-fix" model, where you only call for help once something stops working, an MSP monitors your systems 24/7 to catch issues before they turn into outages.

  • A couple of definitions first:

    • MSP (Managed Service Provider): Handles broad IT administration, including network performance, help desk support, cloud management, and hardware maintenance.
    • MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider): Focuses specifically on security, including threat hunting, incident response, and running a security operations center (SOC).

In 2026, the line between those two has mostly disappeared. Quality providers, D-Best included, build MSSP-level security into their standard packages instead of charging for it as an add-on.

The bigger shift is what comes next. The industry is moving from the traditional MSP model toward what's being called a Managed Intelligence Provider (MIP). The difference is one of focus:

    • A traditional MSP keeps your systems running. The work is mostly reactive: something breaks, they fix it, the lights stay on.
    • An MIP works on business outcomes. The work is proactive: using automation, AI tools, and predictive analytics to streamline how your business actually operates, not just to maintain the equipment it runs on.

Put simply, an MSP acts as an IT vendor. An MIP acts as a strategic partner. One manages your servers and networks. The other helps you automate workflows, catch problems before they start, and scale the parts of your business that technology touches.

That's the direction D-Best has been building toward. We still do the core MSP work, and we do it well, because uptime and a responsive help desk aren't optional. But our vCIO sessions, our automation work, and the AI tools we build into client environments are all aimed at the same thing: technology that moves your business forward instead of just keeping it online.

There are three common pricing models:

  • Per-user: One price per person, covering all of their devices. No surprises when someone adds a second monitor or a new phone. This is the most common model because it's predictable, easy to budget, and grows naturally with your team.
  • Per-device: You're charged per workstation, server, or endpoint. It can work for some setups, but costs add up quickly as devices multiply and tracking what's covered gets complicated.
  • Flat-rate: A single monthly fee based on company size. Simple on paper, but you may end up paying for support you don't need, or running into a ceiling when something major happens.

Generally, yes.

A single mid-level IT hire in 2026 runs $80,000 to $150,000 in salary alone. Add benefits, training, tools, and paid time off, and you're well over six figures for one person who still can't be an expert in everything or be in two places at once.

An MSP gives you a full team of specialists across security, cloud, networking, and strategy, usually for a predictable monthly cost that lands well under that fully loaded salary number. You aren't just saving money, you're getting broader coverage than any single hire could provide.

An SLA is a written agreement that defines the performance standards you can expect from your IT provider. It typically covers:

  • Response time: How quickly your provider acknowledges a new ticket (often within 15 to 30 minutes for urgent issues).
  • Resolution time: How long it takes to actually fix the problem.
  • Uptime guarantee: The percentage of time your systems are required to be operational (usually 99.9 percent or higher).

Our Security Operations Center monitors and protects your environment 24/7/365. Combined with proactive maintenance and strategic planning, that means most issues get resolved before they ever reach your team. Our full support team is available during business hours for the day-to-day work.

We use AI on the back end to make support better, not flashier. That includes predictive maintenance (catching a failing hard drive before it crashes instead of after), automated patching, and streamlining repetitive work like employee onboarding so the routine stuff doesn't slow anyone down.

A solid MSP has a real business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) plan in place before anything happens. That plan generally includes:

  • Immutable backups: Data backups that can't be encrypted or deleted by an attacker.
  • A defined recovery time objective (RTO): A clear target for getting you back online in hours rather than days.
  • Isolation: Cutting infected machines off the network immediately so the problem doesn't spread.

A virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) is a consultant who helps you with long-term technology strategy and planning. The job is to help you use technology to actually grow your business.

How often you meet with your vCIO, and how useful those meetings are, varies a lot from one MSP to the next. Most providers schedule a quarterly call, walk you through a health report, and call that "strategy." That's not what we do at D-Best.

Our vCIO sessions are focused, one-on-one strategy meetings with someone who understands both your business and the technology behind it. We dig into where your business is headed, identify processes worth streamlining, and show you the real return on investment. No fluff, no pat on the back. We find the opportunities, build the plan, and help you execute.

It's the piece most businesses didn't know they were missing until they experience it.
