Alan Pelz-Sharpe
Founder
Alan has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, working with various end-user organizations like FedEx, The Mayo Clinic & Allstate, and vendors from Oracle and IBM to startups worldwide. Alan was formerly a Partner at The Real Story Group, Consulting Director at Indian Services firm Wipro, Research Director at 451, and VP for North America at industry analyst firm Ovum. He is regularly quoted in the press, including the Wall Street Journal and The Guardian, and has appeared on the BBC, CNBC, and ABC as an expert guest. Alan currently serves on the board of the industry association AIIM International and became an Honorary Fellow of IIM Africa in 2023.

Matt Mullen
Lead Analyst – AI Applications
Matt has worked in the software industry for close to 30 years, initially as a developer of web applications, later working in a range of consultancy roles, from implementation and architecture to the incubation of emerging technologies. As an industry analyst, Matt previously worked for Real Story Group and 451 Research (now S&P Global), covering information management technologies and their intersection with the workplace.

Peter Brooks
Lead Analyst – Blockchain
Peter has over 25 years of experience defining and quantifying the strategic, financial, and operational business value of technology. Clients have been both end-user and vendor organizations. He has worked at IBM, PwC, Wipro, several startups, and his own consultancy. Peter is a certified (PMP) project manager, has published numerous articles include co-authoring Harvard Business School working papers, and presents at industry conferences.

Dan Lucarini
Lead Analyst – IDP
A software product manager at heart, Dan has over 25 years of experience working for ECM and IDP leaders such as OpenText and Kofax. His roles included CMO, Sales Director, and VP Product Management, and work with VC and private equity funded start-ups. Dan served two terms on the AIIM Board of Directors and was elected to the Company of Fellows in 2018. A 2nd generation Italian-American from Pittsburgh, after living in the Colorado Rockies for 20 years, he now resides in Cornwall, UK, with his wife, the acclaimed Cornish artist Dot Wade.

In his 10+ years in the industry, he has developed and implemented strategic logistics and supply chain solutions for organizations ranging in size from start-up to established brand leaders. Gennady has also brought his transportation planning, warehousing, and manufacturing expertise as an operations adviser to Blocksyte, a blockchain-based start-up organization focused on supply chain traceability and IoT.
