Our appointment for this year is 30.05. at the fuzz club. Once a year, we prepare a night a little darker than usual. This time past and present of dark wave, goth and synth music will share the stage, with the common feature that all three bands have indelibly marked the night’s soundtrack.
She past away
no longer needs recommendations, they are the goth heroes of our time! Their third album, entitled “Disko Anksiyete”, launched them all over the length and breadth of the globe. The two discs that preceded it are classed as the genre’s most beloved hits. They started exactly ten years ago, so their appearance will be anniversary and they will present almost their entire discography. They are essentially the first to write dark wave music in Turkish lyrics, which is a key feature of them. They did so without ever attempting to launch a new music stream in the neighboring country and uploading the music of the dark clubs to Christian Dior’s runway. They say the Athenian public is their favorite and one of the two lives permanently in Athens. Dancing and melancholic at the same time, she past away offers the ultimate concert experience.
Selofan
entered our lives in 2012 and has been generously giving us one album a year, thereby taking a step deeper into our hearts. Their new job kept us on a short wait of two years to compensate us with a personal deposit of soul of unparalleled beauty. Their sincere and profound emotional approach to the sound of the ’80s has led them around the world, but their heart beats in Athens, which is why their live show here is of particular importance to us, but especially to ourselves. Because the words are over with their live appearances, if you have never seen them so far, we will not be surprised, we will only tell you what will be the only opportunity this year, as they insist on appearing only once time.
No More
began experimenting with frequencies and drum machines in 1979 in Kiel, Germany. The result was a mix of electronic music with No Wave and post punk elements, which New Year’s Express of that year refers to as “the Germans who look like they got out of Lou Reed’s Berlin.” In 1981 they write the immortal and classic “suicide commando” and tour with Sisters of mercy and x-mal Deutschland. The track is made by dj today. Hell, Vitalic and Echopark and flood the dancefloor worldwide. But anyone who listens more closely to their long work from ’81 to this day, as they continue to write, play and publish their music, will discover many diamonds of this genre.
