Some examples of what you can volunteer for are:
McIntosh Apple Day Festival (October)
It takes over 100 volunteers to pull off this event. Apple day is a great way to meet new people and have a fun time. What we need help with:
- Apple peeling
- Pie making
- Manning booths
- Apple Pie, Caramel Apple, Hot Cider, Cider Pressing, Apple Butter, Steak Kabobs, Apple Fritters and more!
- Making caramel
- Tent set-up
- Kids activities
- Clean up after the event is over
Liquid Apple Night:
- Turnover from Apple Day to Apple Night
- Pouring Cider
- Selling Tickets, Gate
- Museum Front Desk
- Cleanup and Take Down.
Bitter Root Day Festival (June)
- Set Up
- Outdoor exhibit set-up
- Selling Bitterroot Flowers
- Fry Bread Booth
- Children’s activities
- Clean up after the event is over
Farmers Market (May – October)
- Manning the Museum’s booth
- Docent-led tours
- Kids Activities assistance
