This Museum serves all of Ravalli County, from Sula to Florence, and there is something for everyone who wants to be involved!

Some examples of what you can volunteer for are:

McIntosh Apple Day Festival (October)

It takes over 100 volunteers to pull off this event. Apple day is a great way to meet new people and have a fun time. What we need help with:

  • Apple peeling
  • Pie making
  • Manning booths
    • Apple Pie, Caramel Apple, Hot Cider, Cider Pressing, Apple Butter, Steak Kabobs, Apple Fritters and more!
  • Making caramel
  • Tent set-up
  • Kids activities
  • Clean up after the event is over

Liquid Apple Night:

  •  Turnover from Apple Day to Apple Night
  • Pouring Cider
  • Selling Tickets, Gate
  • Museum Front Desk
  • Cleanup and Take Down.

Bitter Root Day Festival (June)

  • Set Up
  • Outdoor exhibit set-up
  • Selling Bitterroot Flowers
  • Fry Bread Booth
  • Children’s activities
  • Clean up after the event is over

Farmers Market (May – October)

  • Manning the Museum’s booth
  • Docent-led tours
  • Kids Activities assistance
